چکیده
This page lists questions we have about your paper. The numbers displayed at left can be found in the text of the paper for reference. In addition, please review your paper as a whole for correctness. Q1. Au: Primary and Secondary classifications are required. Please provide the appropriate primary and secondary classifications from 5 We derive a test in order to examine the need of modeling survival data using frailty 6 models based on the likelihood ratio (LR) test for homogeneity. Test is developed for 7 both complete and censored samples from a family of baseline distributions that satisfy 8 a closure property. Approach motivated by I-divergence distance is used in order to 9 determine " credible " regions for all parameters of baseline distribution for which 10 homogeneity hypothesis is not rejected. Proposed test outperforms the usual asymptotic 11 LR test both in very small samples with known frailty and for all small sample sizes 12 under misspecified frailty.

A Conditional Test for Exponentiality Against Weibull DFR Alternatives Based on Censored Samples
A conditional test based on quadratic form using type-2 censored sample for testing exponentiality against Weibull alternative is proposed. The simulated percentage points and powers are given. The proposed test performs well for identifying Weibull DFR alternative even for small sample. An example is also given.
متن کاملApplication of Statistics to Evaluate Iranian Analytical Laboratories Proficiency: Case of Aflatoxins in Pistachio
The aim of this study was to evaluate the utility of a proficiency testing program among limited number of local laboratories as an alternative to the IUPAC/CITAC guide on proficiency testing with a limited number of participants, specially where international schemes are not accessible. As a sample scheme we planned to determine aflatoxins (B1, G1, B2, G2, total) in Iranian pistachio matrix. A...
متن کاملData Driven Approaches to Testing Homogeneity of Intraclass Correlation Coefficients
The test of homogeneity for intraclass correlation coefficients has been one of the active topics in statistical research. Several chi-square tests have been proposed to test the homogeneity of intraclass correlations in the past few decades. The big concern for them is that these methods are seriously biased when sample sizes are not large. In this thesis, data driven approaches are proposed t...
متن کاملTesting for homogeneity of multivariate dispersions using dissimilarity measures.
Testing homogeneity of dispersions may be of its own scientific interest as well as an important auxiliary step verifying assumptions of a main analysis. The problem is that many biological and ecological data are highly skewed and zero-inflated. Also the number of variables often exceeds the sample size. Thus data analysts often do not rely on parametric assumptions, but use a particular dissi...
متن کاملPrevalence of frailty and factors associated with frailty in the hospitalized elderly
Introduction: One of the expected consequences of society aging is an increase in the number of frail elderly. Frailty if persistent, It probably has consequences for the individual and social life of the elderly in society. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine the prevalence and frailty-related factors were assessed in the elderly hospitalized. Methods: The present study is a cross-...
